Outliers ought to be removed prior to analysing data sets. Known and obvious outliers can be removed first as they affect both means and standard deviations.

Outliers with more than three standard deviations away from the mean can then be deleted by using this tool. Upload the data from an Excel file where they are arranged in columns. Rows of outliers idenified from the selected variables will then be deleted.
